Honest Catering has announced Rachel Cronemeyer has been named the new pastry chef of Honest Man Restaurants. In her new position, Rachel will oversee all dessert operations at all Honest restaurants including Nick & Toni’s, Rowdy Hall, La Fondita, Townline BBQ, Nick & Toni’s Café and Honest Catering.
A Long Island native, Ms. Cronemeyer began baking at a young age and in 2008 she enrolled in the Baking and Pastry Arts program at Suffolk County Community College, relocating to the North Fork in 2009. Ms. Cronemeyer has interned at the North Fork Table and Inn, where she worked under the James Beard Award Winning Pastry Chef Claudia Fleming, has served as the Assistant Chef for Suffolk County Community College’s Baking and Pastry Arts Program and in 2012 started her own company, Cronemeyer Cakes & Confections.
