$5,000 scholarships for Suffolk County Community College students affected by Superstorm Sandy Applications due Friday 11/1/13

Rotary District 7260 Hurricane Sandy Relief Scholarship
The Rotary District 7260 Foundation has graciously contributed these scholarship funds to help Suffolk County Community College students and their families who have been adversely impacted by last year’s Superstorm Sandy.

The $5,000 scholarships are part of the Rotary’s mission of dedication to service in the community, as well as the Suffolk Community College Foundation’s mission to develop resources that enable the College to provide quality educational experiences for its students.

There are a limited number of scholarships, so please contact the SCC Foundation today at (631) 451-4941.

Directions
1. Provide a narrative (200-250 words) of how Hurricane Sandy financially affected you and your family, and your desire to continue at SCCC.
2. Provide documents (insurance claims, photographs) supporting your financial need due to Hurricane Sandy.
3. Submit this completed application form with all appropriate attachments by November 1, 2013.
