SUFFOLK COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE PRESENTS AN ALUMNI ART EXHIBITION ON THE MICHAEL J. GRANT CAMPUS IN BRENTWOOD FROM SEPTEMBER 26 – OCTOBER 31, 2013
Brentwood, NY – The Gallery West on the Michael J. Grant Campus of Suffolk County Community College in Brentwood will host an Alumni Art Exhibition from September 26 through October 31, 2013.
An opening reception and gallery discussion will take place on Thursday, September 26 at 3:30 p.m. The artists, Janelle Brook Councill, Juan Lopez Espanteleon, Katie Poletti, Christina Simons and Diana Quijano, will be on hand to discuss their work, their experiences at Suffolk County Community College, and answer questions. The event is open to the public and light refreshments will be served.
Traditionally, alumni exhibitions have been lively and diverse, featuring many different styles, media, and aesthetic approaches to making art. These include prints, drawings, paintings, photographs, sculpture and ceramics.
Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Directions to the Michael J. Grant Campus: Take the Long Island Expressway to Exit 53.
